FAQ
So you’ve found your perfect band but you want to know a little bit more about how things work! How do we pay? What happens if somebody is ill on the day? Do we have to provide two bowls of M&M’s with no red ones? Check out our FAQ’s.
What time do you arrive and leave?
We will arrive at your venue for 6.30pm and we’ll be with you right up until 12.30am (6 hours in total). If you’d like to extend the amount of time we’re with you, you can do so for a small hourly rate, all you have to do is ask and we’ll make it happen!
How much do you cost?
There’s a lot of variables when it comes to pricing, such as, travel time, time of year, venue size, PA requirements, etc… Because of this we aren’t able to use a one size fits all pricing structure! However we do offer extremely high value at extremely fair rate! If you’d like to receive a quotation, you can request one at any time using our contact page.
How many are in the band?
Our lineup consist of 4 band members. A singer, guitarist, bassist and a drummer.
How long does it take you to get all your equipment setup?
We can have our disco music playing within 30 minutes of accessing the venue and it usually take us around 40/45 minutes to get fully set up and sound checked.
Do we have to provide sound or lighting equipment?
Absolutely not! We carry a Pro-Grade PA system and a very high quality LED lighting rig so that stage and dance floor sounds and looks amazing! All we need from your venue is an electrical supply and we’re ready to go!
Can you play venues that have noise limiters?
Absolutely. More and more venues across the UK are having these limiters installed which isn’t ideal for us as musicians but it’s something we’ve learned to deal with. However, it’s important we know ahead of time so that we can chose our equipment accordingly in order to stay within the sound limits.
What payment methods do you accept?
You can make payments by Bank Transfer or by Credit/Debit card, whichever is easiest for you! We currently have 4 different payment options. You can either:
- Pay Balance in Full.
- 50/50 Payment (50% deposit with the balance paid at least 28 days before the event).
- 4-Stage Payment Plan
- Monthly Payment Plan
It’s worth noting that our payment plans are completely interest free and because it’s a payment plan rather than credit, it doesn’t require a credit search or affect your credit rating.
Do you have insurance?
Yes we do! We have Public Liability Insurance for £5m which is the standard requirement for most venues. We’ll be in contact with your venue before your event to pass over our certification so it’s not something you’ll have to worry about!
Do you learn requests?
Sadly, because of our very busy gig schedule, we aren’t able to learn specific requests unfortunately.
Can we pick our own set list?
We invariably choose the live set on the night depending on the crowd in front of us. From experience this work really well and allows us to be responsive and keep the dance floor full all night! That said, if you have a few favourites in our set list that you’d love to be a part of the night, please contact us and we’ll make sure they’re included at some point in the night for you.
If you’d like to pick the songs for the disco set, please feel free to send across a playlist to us and we’ll make sure all of the songs are downloaded and ready to go on the night.
Do we have to provide anything else?
We’re a very low maintenance bunch so the only thing we ask is that you provide us with a small bit of food and a few refreshments to keep us going throughout the evening! It doesn’t have to be 3 course meal by any means but a tray of sandwiches along with a couple of bottles of water/fizzy drinks for us would be amazing!
Do we get a written contract?
Yes! We’ll provide you with a hard-copy contract so that we’re both absolutely clear on what is expected and what is happening on the day. This way we’re both legally bound and your money is protected by a signed contract.
